Like I said Trunds I'm not sure how it worked... I was expecting it not to work... but somehow it did... only for a couple of years more mind you until NYCFC get their place built... Oh and they had loads and loads of Lampard shirts half price if anyone was interested...
Yeah you are right perhaps one day I will take up one of my MATES offer of a freebie and get over the O/S and try it out.... and you never know unlike all my Mates who hate the place I might actually really really love it...

I just can't see how anyone who has been that vocal over their criticism of the OS can praise what the Yankee Stadium is for football.
But I suppose I'm in no real position to talk about the Yankee Stadium as I've never been there. Just going on what things like the above have suggested. I just find it weird that they've managed to squeeze a football pitch on a baseball pitch.
You're bang on the money about those Mexicans making a decent atmosphere though. I have witnessed that first hand.

Also, as similar it's similar to German model with ticket prices and Orlando have safe standing. All team tend to stand at both ends at atmospheres seem decent, young'uns bouncing around and not one sitting there moaning whilst spending £80 on a ticket and looking at a fucking ipad.
Pretty much it.... I was not expecting a lot and it was a damn sight better than I thought it was going to be... does help having loads of hispanics (Mexicans and Argies) getting involved... when we return I will deffo take in another game... also it's a absolute joy being able to stand-sit... drinking a beer... and watching a game... and that's watching the game not standing in some shit so called part-tay deck...

Most of the ones they've built in the last couple of decades have been very good.
The new Atlanta Falcons one looks the fucking dogs bollocks

Yes, that Atlanta Mercedes Benz stadium looks good. Spend 1.5 billion on it mind so it should. Like how it comes in close for football.

I went in 2015 to watch NYCFC. Superb.
STANDING behind one goal and good sized crowd. It was against the WHITECAPS so a U.S/Canadian rivalry anyway. Booted off near the away end between them too. NYCFC chucked a flare/smoker into the Canadian section then a few stormed it, windmilling.
good to watch!
